We are a translation company that specializes in marketing translation, transcreation, audiovisual & voice-user-interface translation for cutting-edge brands in the digital, media and advertising industries. Founded by Martina Russo in 2010, we work closely with a selected team of translators to help brands like Neil Patel, Skullcandy and Volvo communicate with the Italian, Swiss Italian and European markets.
Although we have a full team of professionals at our disposal ready to tackle multilingual projects large and small, Moving Words is still a one-woman business. This means that every project is managed by our founder Martina. Thanks to this structure we have the capabilities of a larger service provider whilst being able to provide the market specialization and flexibility that most big agencies can’t deliver on.
We can help you with almost any language combination thanks to our vetted network of professional translators. We focus on English, FIGS (French, Italian, German and Spanish) and on the Swiss market, but can also help with overseas languages such as Chinese, Japanese, or Russian.
We work with mid to big-size brands in the digital, media and advertising industries, and can deliver a wide range of formats.

At this point, we’ll send a proposal covering service, timelines, and costing. This is another chance to tell us whether there are any additional needs or considerations that should be made before working together. After the proposal is signed, your project will be added to our pipeline.

After you have sent us your documents for review, we will get to work completing the necessary groundwork of research to ensure project success – covering competitors, area-specific language, tone of voice and other considerations.

Optional: External Review
Based on our agreements, a colleague in our team completes an external review and prepares the file for final delivery.

We only work with companies and on projects that fall under our specializations and where we know, we can do an excellent job. A round of feedback and changes is always included in our fees.

The only software we use is to help us create glossaries and terminology databases so that we can keep your translations consistent and make sure that there are no typos.

We know that your documents might contain confidential information. We value your privacy and we want to keep it that way: anyone who comes across your documents at any point of the process is required to sign an NDA and is legally bound to not disclose what they read or learn from working on your materials.

We accept payments via bank transfer, TransferWise, and PayPal.

When we start working with a new company, payments need to be settled upfront. However, to our recurring customers, we offer a monthly billing option and payments can be settled 15-30 days after an invoice has been issued.
